Privacy information
Effective date: March 2026
SMS Scheduler is designed to help users plan and remember messages. Based on the current app implementation, scheduled message data is stored locally on the device. The app uses system integrations only when needed for its core functions or when the user turns them on.
Information the app may access
- Contacts: only to let you pick message recipients from your address book.
- Notifications: to remind you before or at the scheduled time, and optionally again if a message was not sent.
- Calendar: only if you enable adding scheduled items to Calendar.
- Reminders: only if you enable adding scheduled items to Reminders.
How your data is used
- To save scheduled messages and display them inside the app.
- To prepare reminders and launch the native Messages flow when you choose to send.
- To create optional Calendar or Reminders entries if you enable those features.
Data sharing
The current app source indicates local storage for message schedules. This website does not claim that your scheduled message content is sold or shared with third parties for advertising. If future versions add analytics, cloud sync, advertising, or third-party SDKs beyond the current implementation, this privacy section should be updated accordingly.
Your choices
- You can choose whether to grant Contacts, Notifications, Calendar, and Reminders access.
- You can disable optional integrations in the app settings.
- You can delete scheduled messages from inside the app.
Security and platform behavior
- SMS Scheduler uses Apple system frameworks and opens the native Messages app for final sending.
- The app does not silently send SMS in the background.
- Permissions are requested for specific features such as contacts, notifications, calendar access, or reminders access.
- Reminder actions and app behavior depend on Apple platform rules, device settings, and notification permissions.
- Users remain responsible for reviewing message content and recipients before final send in Messages.
